1. Master Data Management:

• Material Master: Central repository for all material-related information, such as material types, pricing, and inventory details.
• Vendor Master: Stores information about suppliers, including contact details and terms of payment.

2. Procurement:

• Purchase Requisition (PR): Document created to request the purchase of materials or services.
• Purchase Order (PO): Formal document issued to a vendor requesting the delivery of materials or services at a specified price.
• Request for Quotation (RFQ): Document used to request quotations from suppliers for the purchase of materials or services.

3. Inventory Management:

• Goods Receipt (GR): Records the receipt of goods or services and updates inventory levels.
• Goods Issue (GI): Records the withdrawal of goods from inventory.
• Stock Transfer: Enables the transfer of materials between different storage locations or plants.

4. Invoice Verification:

• Three-Way Match: Compares the details in the purchase order, goods receipt, and supplier invoice to ensure accuracy before processing payment.
